Wedding Ceremonies
An outdoor wedding by the lake is one never to be forgotten. Our gazebo near the water makes the perfect setting for a daytime or sunset ceremony. We provide and set up the chairs, run the sound for ceremony music and microphones, and conduct your rehearsal.
The Gazebo
From the last arch, a white aisle runs sixty feet to the first of three steps before the gazebo. The back half of the structure is ringed by a low, three-and-a-half foot high white, stone wall which supports four stone columns creating three open windows to the scenic surroundings of Lake Grapevine. These columns provide the majority support of the octagonal roof that rises over eight feet above the gazebo floor. Further support is provided on the side and front by slimmer wooden poles. This creates an open area for any ceremony, for both the participants to move about as well as the celebrants to witness without obstruction. Each side spans almost nine feet providing over 450 square feet of floor space. To either side of the aisle, the flooring is level and suitable to support comfortable seating for 200 guests.
Measurement Information:
- The two (2) front gazebo poles are 100 inches (8 feet, 4 inches) tall.
- The two (2) side gazebo poles are 62 inches (5 feet, 2 inches) tall.
- The two (2) front gazebo poles are 104 inches (8 feet, 8 inches) apart.
- The white aisle from the last arch to the gazebo is 60 feet long.
facilities The Grand Hall
The Lakeside Dining Area
With a vaulted ceiling rising overhead, the lakeside dining area provides a wide space for ceremonies, entertainment, and dining. At one end of the hall, a large stone fireplace sits off center, giving warmth and grandeur to an intimate area that is part of the raised flooring. This area is partly enclosed by a wooden wall of tealights and a banister with access from several steps leading to the fireplace. Further access can be achieved from the other side of the hall where the raised flooring continues in an inverted 'L' shape. The banister nearly divides the hall, running its length towards the other end that is a large natual stone wall of warm, earthy hues.
The lake-side portion of the grand hall provides a full lenght view through a near wall of windows. With the vantage upon a fair rise, the view of the surrounding lake and sky frame the landscaped walkway with the white, stone arches as it leads to the gazebo. A large wooden dance floor is nearly central to the hall. The bar, lakeside dining, DJ, and buffet-style serving areas are also accessable from the reception area, and allows for multiple layouts.
facilities The Outside Patio
The Patio
The outside patio sits off the end of the grand hall near the facilities entrance. The wood decking is stained a golden hue, and enclosed by a wood and black iron banister that minimizes obstructing the exceptional view of the Lake.
Supporting the banister's embellisments, the patio furniture is a similar black iron of visual simplicity and creates a delightful and solid contrast to the patio's deck color. Both table an chairs hold clean lines and slight curves, and a tight mesh makes for the table top and seating pad. Both table top and seats are square in shape, and generally seat four, creating an inviting opportunity to escape the festivities for a quite interlude, or to strike up conversation of amiable banter.
